The Parsi community celebrates Navroz festival with great enthusiasm. On this day the house is cleaned. The Parsis go to the fire temple wearing new clothes and greet each other after prayers. Many types of dishes are made on this day. On this day people of Parsi community wake up early in the morning on the Parsi New Year and take bath. Decorate their homes. Different types of Rangolis are made in the house. People celebrate this festival by offering gifts to their relatives.
Beliefs related to Navroz
Zoroastrians worship Agni. On this day, Parsis go to the place of worship (fire temple) and pray. On this day, the Parsis resolve to abandon their evil deeds and pray to Agni Dev that their new year brings happiness and prosperity in their lives.
